It is mainly used in domestic and industrial installations.<\/p>\n

The wood pellet is a 5 to 6 mm cylinder of sawdust. diameter and length 20 to 30 mm. It is obtained directly by pressing the sawdust against a matrix, generating high temperatures and as a consequence of the binders in the wood itself, it is compacted.<\/p>\n

It is the only biomass fuel today that is standardized. That is, it can be purchased with a certified calorific value.<\/p>\n

The highest quality ones are obtained from sawdust from the cutting processes in sawmills. However, lower quality pellets can also be obtained through recycling processes of pallets and other wood.<\/p>\n

European certification EN PLUS A1 and A2<\/strong> which is a less restrictive adaptation of the European DIN PLUS certification<\/strong> standard.<\/p>\n

Choosing a good pellet is very important since if we use a good pellet we will have a greater heat input and our biomass boilers or stoves will be in better condition.
